Our choir consists of 18-20 people, including both musicians and amateurs. We are not backed by any university, multinational company or the like so it is our best interest to raise funds for our goals. Currently our goal is to participate in choir competitions in the next few months.

But instead of words and long sentences, let's listen to how we enrich our audience with our voice.
Cappella Quinqueecclesiensis was founded in Pécs in 2014 by young people committed to the rarities of choral art. With our choice of name, on the one hand, we wanted to express our place of origin (Quinqueecclesiae being the Medieval Latin name of Pécs), and on the other, our intention to perform and promote the demanding repertoire.
Our repertoire consists of works by lesser-known Renaissance and Romantic authors, as well as pieces from the 20th and 21st centuries, mainly contemporary Hungarian choral works. The dissemination and propagation of contemporary Hungarian choral art is perhaps one of the most important segments of our activity, we consider this very important – several pieces were written especially for us and dedicated to us.
Support us and come to our concerts. Perhaps we could perform one of your favourite songs :)
