Can you help us get our first home?

Hi,  Thanks for taking the time for reading our cry for help! My name is Sean (25) and my girlfriend Chelsea (23) have been together for 4 Years and have lived together for 3 Years, we are now looking to start a family together. Chelsea works full time, I am self employed and we live in privately rented accomadation. The money we make is fine as it covers the rent and bills that we have to pay but little is left over for any sort of saving. The house prices in the UK have risen so much, it makes it almost impossible for young adults in our position to get the first step required to be in the priviledged position of being a home owner. We are not looking to live in a palace just somewhere which we can call home and add our own personal touch to as we begin to start a family. We would like to get married and have a child but feel we should financially secure in our own home before we look at adding any further costs to our lives.  We have been trying to save for the past Year but we have not managed to save anything as work for me has been inconsistant and Chelsea has had to bridge the gaps. Any donation would be greatly appreciated and you would be really helping out 2 young responsible adults get a good start in life.
