Cake for everyone!

I would love to turn an old empty community centre in my area into a bakery cafe where during the day I can take on a small group of people who wish to work but often lack the availability. Mostly, young parents (or older!) who have children at either nursery or school age and can only spare those hours. I'd also like to have a small creche type facility adjoined eventually so these parents can come after nursery/school hours and either help out in the bakery or the creche. It's all about getting people much like myself out of the house for a couple of hours a day, getting to meet new people and socialize with other people in the same situation while giving them a little extra cash in their pockets every week. Happier parents make children happier, I know this - most of us live it.    This may be a cause which, in the grand scale of things, might not seem as important as all the other pressing issues in the world, but everyone needs a little support sometimes and currently there is nothing quite like this on offer in my area or as far as I have googled, which both provides extra income (minus any make-up or cleaning items distributing) and a place where parents can relax knowing their children are safe and having fun while they grab a cuppa and a chat or even work for a few hours.    Placements would be based on voluntary rotas, where i have a list of names and the hours are filled by when the person can manage and they are paid a bonus for attending at the end of the week. It will be completely self funded - Which is where you guys come in! I need a little help to get the ball rolling and get in the essential catering equipment (All listed below so you can see where the pennies will go!) which is just way out of our league as far as prices for things go. I have been in touch with several local catering establishments to ask for any bits of equipment that they could spare from plates, cups and cutlery to old empty freezers which I can have fixed. There is still a whole lot of things needed which I can't blag from anywhere. So far, I have all the information and contacts written out along with a business plan all ready to submit to our council, which I needed to have ready along with the appropriate funding i'd need would have to be set up before I can get any kind of go ahead.   If you feel either this is a topic which deserves a spare couple of pounds please donate as little (£1) or as much as you'd like.
