Hello and thank you for looking. Our story begins with 2 beautiful children. Because of the circumstances, I cannot tell you their names, but they are my grandbabies. My grandson is almost 4, his sister is 2. Almost 2 years ago, their mother left their father due his abusive behavior towards her. She was unable to take the children with her. Within a short time, it became obvious that he was neglecting/abusing the kids. He is now serving a felony conviction in prison. She did everything she could to get those babies, to no avail. The "authorities" wouldn't let her have them, and placed them in foster care. The original foster parents decided they couldn't handle both kids, so the boy was given to a new foster family. The have been living seperately for over a year!

For the past 15 months, their Mom has jumped through every hoop the state has asked of her. The babies Aunt & Uncle, who are in another state 2000 miles away, have been approved to be the foster family by the state FOR OVER A YEAR! She works with special needs children every day, he is a pediatric radiologist. I am unable to care for these children, otherwise I would get them myself. I have known these people for over 20 years, and I most definately approve of them caring for my grandbabies! We are fighting desprately to keep these children with our family!

The state that has the children has been going through a lot of, shall we say, issues. Because of these "issues", we are unable to name the kids in any online post, my sister-in-law has been held in contempt of court (because she posted a video of our plight), and the children's mom has been unable to see her own kids! This state has FORBIDDEN us to show the babies' faces or mention their names, or be held in contempt! Does this sound fair to anyone? We have contacted media & politicians. We finally got a response from the Govenor of the state that has the kids. She was appalled, especially that the kids had been seperated, but has done nothing to stop this atrocity!

We need this funding in order to pay an attorney to fight for our family! Also, there is court on 2/11/14 to determine if the mom's rights will be severed & the kids will be up for adoption! Their "Graunt"(great aunt) and Aunt are flying out for the hearing, & we need the funds to help defray the costs. The attorney is working with us on payment, but needs to have at least half up front.

We have made special bracelets that say "Bring T & T Home!" that we are selling to raise funds also. I will be sure to send any donor a bracelet, for donations of $20.00 or more. 

Please, we are fighting to keep our family together. These children deserve to be with us, to know their aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents.
