The Brigadeiro Shoppe is a home based business that has had considerable success for the small amount of time it has been operating. This sweet business was born out of my passion for brigadeiros (Brazilian truffles) and my desire to bring something new and exciting to the world of american gourmet desserts/treats. The business itself consists of the making of these treats from scratch. It also consists of the handicraft work of the business owner who produces all the necessary packaging materials so that the product has a great final presentation. The Brigadeiros can be sold in markets or shops across town or can be made to order for special occasions (large amounts) like birthdays, weddings and every celebration. The Brigadeiros are produced in a domestic kitchen and are carefully crafted into little "chocolate balls" and coated with diverse ingredients as coconut flakes, sprinkles, ground nuts etc.. There is little capital involved in the start-up of a company like this. While we await for a good investor, we need to be able to afford simple things to be in compliance with State regulations regarding Food Safety. It is our company's goal not only to offer the best quality truffles but also to do it in a healthiest manner possible. With that being said, let's go directly to what our needs are: 1. Refrigerator to keep the business items separately from the household items. 2.Packaging material that includes ribbons, stock cards, hot glue etc... Usually found in arts and crafts stores 3. Candy boxes of various sizes and shapes. (stock) 4.Kitcken utensils that are approved by the State of TN Domestic Kitchen regulations. 5. Tent, tables and chairs for booths at farmers markets and flea markets for marketing purposes. 6. Candy/Bakery display cases. 7.
