Bricks “N” Mortar

Having lived in an establishment with a "friend" and his partner, after moving in they later announced to me that they were both on a daily crack cocaine and heroin habit. Not having anywhere or indeed anyone to turn to for help, I was subjected to their shenanigans repeatedly. It was like walking on egg shells. The belongings I did have, and of some value, unknowingly to me had sold to gain further monies in which to further their habit. I'm pleased to say that during my three months there, although offered, I had not at any time accepted any of their offers of drugs. I hated and loathed it. I had nowhere to turn and no one to turn to for help.

I had been volunteering for a charity who have been dealing with multiculturality throughout Europe. Sitting on the board of 'Staff' I had eventually opened up to my Director. Agreeing that this was in no way to spend my life. Now armed with all the information, the Director was able to help find me a dwelling, a shared house with several others and of all cultures. Although the Director was able to undersign a moving in deposit, there also remains the following monies of rent and deposits. If anyone knows of the help, or not in this case, of the British Housing Benefits system, they are of no help at all in this matter. Although paying some, but it's not the sum I had been expecting. So in order to keep me from the streets and the hell of residing with further unfortunates, I sincerely ask for your financial gift in helping me to secure a firm and secure accommodation with one of the most sincere and friendly landlords I have ever come across.

Due to successful programme funding, the charity would be able to offer me a full-time job from which the fees of accommodation would eventually be met. However, how long is a piece of string before funding comes through? Until such time, Housing Benefit will cover part of the fees needed and I the rest. Therefore I am asking you all kindly to help in any way possible.
