Breakfast with Santa

This is our 23rd year for "Breakfast with Santa".  A breakfast extravaganza for 75 families in need.  The kids and their parents are treated to a breakfast supplied by McDonalds, then they are entertained by face painters and Home DePot's workshop.....this is to keep them busy while they wait for the big man in red.  They are individually called up to sit on Santa's knee, have their own personal picture taken and receive a gift that they have asked for from a wishlist that they previously  filled out.  It is an overwhelming moment for their parents and all the volunteers.

The families leave with baked goodies, a ham, gift bags and transportation to get everything home.

Everything involved in the breakfast from wrapping paper to table cloths, the food, etc is supplied by our long time sponsors.  We are responsible for raising money for the gifts only and every year it is a challenge but with the help of family, friends, volunteers we get it done.

This year we are going to try on line fundraising. Our goal is $15,000.  Every $20 donated ($40-- 2 ballots, etc) you will receive a name ballot for a draw that will be held December 10th, in Burlington at Jersey's Bar and Grill.  You do not have to be present to win.  1st prize:  $1000  2nd prize: Ipad and 3rd prize is 32"Panasonic TV

Donations over $20 will receive a tax receipt if requested.  Families that come to the Breakfast are from Good Shepherd.
