Campaign Story
Hi, I'm Dylan and I am raising money for a volunteering trip to Ghana with my school and Plan My Gap Year. Whilst we are there we will be getting involved in lots of volunteering activities to make a positive impact in the local community. We will be there for two weeks, and during that time we will be travelling to Kumasi where we will be helping with renovation projects, which support institutions and projects that often struggle to find funding and labour support to undertake important development work. We will also be getting involved with Plan My Gap Year's community childcare programme, where we will volunteer and support at either the creche, nursery, kindergarten or primary school where we will be interacting with the children and spending time in the playground area with them, as well as helping to teach younger children how to read and write. I am really excited to be a part of this amazing trip and any funds you can spare to help me get to Ghana will be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much - Dylan

100 mile sponsored walk

During the summer Dylan has set himself a challenge of walking 100 miles before he goes back to school. He has been out and about most days racking up the miles and is well on his way to being half way through, and may even be able to achieve more
