Hello, my name is Hannah I am a 32 year old mother of our 1 year old Adelyn. My Fiance Chris is 36 and the proud father of our 1 year old. We both have good jobs that pay decent but in the last few years we have had a lot of unforeseen things happen to us. We met February of 2015 after hearing from mutual friends that we would be perfect for each other. Both of us reluctant to go on a blind date ended up running into each other about 6 months after hearing each others names. Chris has been taking care of his mother who has many medical issues, for over 10 years. We discussed moving in together but the home I had was not accommodating to his mother who would be living with us. In, November 2015 we found out we were pregnant! which really kicked us into gear trying to find a new home that was suitable for all of us, Chris, his mother, our soon to be baby girl and I. in June 2016 we found a place we could call our new home. almost immediately after moving in the AC Unit stopped working and I was 8 months pregnant. We found out after calling an HVAC specialist out that the furnace was not working as it should either and was omitting some carbon monoxide. I panicked, luckily we had a friend who gave us some old AC window units that we were able to use to make it though the summer and we used our wood burning stove in the winter. August 2016, we gave birth to our princess! She was/is perfect, the best surprise we could have ever been given. we wanted to give ourselves some time to get acclimated to the new family life before we started planning our wedding so we waited until April 2017 and Chris and I started planning our wedding and reserving venues with deposits, at that time we had some money stored away that would allow us to get married. In May 2017 we decided since we got a good no interest deal on a new furnace, and AC unit that we would get that replaced so we did not have to worry about the carbon monoxide with our baby girl. at the beginning of June 2017 we then replaced our ultra drafty windows and then we found out we have lead paint in a few areas of our home, great. Then to put icing on the cake, at the end of June 2017 we got hit by a drunk driver and our vehicle was totaled, insurance did not give us much for it as it was an older vehicle but it was very reliable and in great condition. I had to use over half the money I had saved to purchase a "new" to me, reliable vehicle to get to work and get our baby to and from daycare. Now we are left with the decision to either go into severe debt to pay for our wedding or cancel it and not get married and loose the deposits we have already paid on venues and entertainment. Neither of us have ever been married and both have always looked forward to it. We want to be married and spend the rest of our lives together. I have always dreamed of this day and am praying that something will turn around for us but I am feeling very discouraged and don't know another way. I am not the type of person to ask for a hand out so this is very difficult for me to do, but its worth a shot if it means being able to marry the man I love with the love and support of our friends and family there, not just in some court room, justice of the peace style. I appreciate you taking the time to read our story and hope that your day is wonderful and bright and you are surrounded by love.

Thank You,

Hannah & Chris
