Campaign Story
Dad was drafted and deployed to Vietnam in October 1967 and returned one year later, knowing he'd been exposed to Agent Orange but seemingly unscathed. Upon returning from Vietnam, Dad worked in the supply room sorting personal belongings that were being shipped home from Vietnam. This means he continued to be exposed, even at home.
Fast forward, and Dad's been diagnosed with both Parkinson's Disease, peripheral neuropathy, and a range of smaller complications, all of which have been deemed service connected to his exposure to Agent Orange. Many of the ways he planned to contribute have come to a screeching halt. His progression has been quite rapid, which brings us to getting this trip on the calendar as quickly as possible.
