MY MUM and NIECE NEEDS A HOME

My mother Lorna is a single mum who has helped to raise five children singlehandedly doing minor jobs here and there.She has also helped other children in need whilst she was struggling due to her generous nature.She now lives in With my 11 year old niece Whitney.

Since my father died in 1991,My mum has really struggled to make ends meet that includes paying rent as we have never had a permanent home, paying school fees and putting food on the table among other needs.

Now although all the five of us are grown up and some have moved to live on their own,none of us is financially able to support my mother .In fact all my sibling are also struggling financially and with lack of jobs making them unable to help?

Currently my mother is struggling with severe hypertension and chest/throat infection which has made her unable to work.I think her years of struggling and heavy work is causing her health decline.Am not only concerned for her health but also for her other needs especially housing.She now can't afford to pay rent or meet any of the other needs.My brother and I have both been trying to support in whichever way we can,but whatever we have has barely been able to cover the rent.

Personally am a charity volunteer worker with just a small basic allowance which has all gone into supporting my mothers needs.The situation is very desperate and am afraid for my mother and my niece.

I am sure that if the main problem is solved we can try and manage the other needs.The main problem is housing.Paying rent very month is very expensive especially when you don't have the means.

I came up with an idea to solve the problem.I urgently need help to ensure my mother and niece are sheltered.My idea is to buy a small piece of land worth (£3000)and build a two roomed house for them with the remainder of the fund.But there is no way I can raise such an amount on my own and would appreciate any help !!
