Saving a Community in Distress

3 months ago I found myself stranded in the Philippines following a heart attack and with no option but to take advantage of a very expensive meds course to save my life. Family, good friends and members of the local community all donated so that I would survive. Still can't travel. Have to take life very easy but grateful for extra days.

Now, following the world's strongest super typhoon this year, I'm watching as a devastating 'Lahore' smashed its way down the Mayon volcano and buried 300 houses under rocks, mud and rubble.

All over provinces where the typhoon hit, chaos caused by destroyed homes & businesses, floods and landslides has resulted in families having nowhere to live, nothing to eat, no wages or the ability to pay for required medical care - and all this in the middle of the Covid 19 pandemic, lockdowns and restriction.

Would like to take the opportunity to thank locals who assisted me 3 months ago (and continue to do so) by raising a small donation towards their many problems following this 220mph wind apocalypse. All donations large or small will assist them. Hoping to make their Christmas a little brighter.
