May he graces us with more blessings in our lives. Our dad passed away last October 13, 2017. Your expression of sympathy will always be remembered.
Forever in our Hearts, Jose Roberto Prado Virina (May 15,1965 - October 13, 2017)
My dad just went to his doctor's check up and had his blood laboratory test. We thank everyone for the continued support and prayers offered. We are hoping for a better results. May God's blessings showered uoon us.
After a month in hospital stay, my dad is already discharged from the hospital. With God's grace and blessings through all the kindness, thoughtfulness, generosity and support in all kinds,we are able to pay the hospitalization bills - medicines, laboratory tests and professional doctors fees which amounted around PHP 180,000. In addition,a very small amount was left which also used to support his daily needs for his maintenance up going forward. Our family especially my dad is very grateful with all these support, presence, and prayers offered to him and our family. He is now a bit stable but sometimes feel a little seizures, low heart rate and fluctuating blood pressure rates. Nevertheless, we still continue to pray for his continuous recovery and let God's hand heals all the pain and endure my dad with his loving presence. Again, we are very grateful to all who have been with us through this journey - doctors, family, friends and prayer warriors. Again, let us still continue to support each and everyone in this journey with all the kindness and prayer offerings and for God will shower us with his blessings tenfold.
Our dad is still in the hospital(Manila Med/MCM). Our mom has to take emergency leave to take care for my father and accompany him through this journey. Supposedly, he can be discharged from the hospital on September 3. However, seizure happened frequently in long term intervals last September 2. Today, he is still under observation and still experiencing severe headache, chest pain, and uneasy feeling due to his case and changing wether conditions. We are hoping his condition will be stable in the couple of days so he can be discharged. Again, unending thank you for all your support, prayers and shared blessings to our family especially for our dad.
After the successful operation, a month later, my dad has been doing well and was able to do things on his own with the help of his nursing staff. We had to hire a stay -out nursing staff because our mom advised by her employer to go back to work since she has consumed all her leave(almost 3/4 of the year) and won't be able to grant extended indefinite leave already. However, towards end of July - last week, he has some eye irritation and had it checked by his doctor. As per the results, the doctor ruled out to be shingles. After a few days from healing his shingles, he was rushed to the hospital(Medical Center of Manila) for an emergency because he was experiencing seizures, decreasing heart rate and pulse rate due to severe headache. The seizures occurred few times in the following days. During his hospital stay, the doctor ruled out there was an infection occurred in his right part(jawline) of his head which caused him pain and stress. Last August 10, when his lab results are normalized and no signs of seizures are seen. Additional medicines and antibiotics are prescribed to help him heal the infections. On that day, he was also discharged from the hospital.
Again on August 23, he was again rushed in the hospital because he was experiencing vomiting and uncontrollable actions (poop and pee), more restless and severe headache which are also signs of radiation effects. Also, he is also experiencing chest pains in his heart is pumping rapidly. He is also experiencing internal bleeding in his G-Tube. Additional laboratory exams are made such as Cardiac Enzyme Test, Abdominal Ultrasound, Gastro Endoscopy. The result of the Cardiac Enzyme Test was not so good because it is thrice as normal which might be a sign that there was a mild heart attack that has occurred. Also, as mentioned by his doctor, his hemoglobin was low as per normal which requires him to do blood transfer to make it normalize. His creatinine result was higher than normal which was under monitoring. Last August 29, he went for Abdominal Ultrasound. Also, the creatinine is getting lower and the hemoglobin became normal. The Abdominal Ultrasound Results are normal and fine for the pancreas, kidney, gall bladder, prostate glands. On August 30,he will undergo Gastro Endoscopy. We thank you for including our family in your prayers, for your outmost generosity and kindness. We are looking forward for a brighter day in this journey. May God bless us all with hundred folds.
Our family would like to express our sincerest gratitude to all who helped us in through these times.Your generosity and thoughtfulness has a big contribution during our dad's operation last Thursday. The operation took 4 - 5 hours. He was just discharged from the Medical City of Manila last night. He is still in his road to recovery, We humbly ask for your continuous prayers and support to our dad's speedy recovery phase. May God shower him with his healing spirit. Also, God may bless you with hundred folds for your kindness and thoughtfulness. God Bless Us All Always!
Humbly I ask for your time to include our dad who will undergo another operation tomorrow morning in your prayers for healing and speedy recovery. The doctor is Doctor Eseque and his team. He will be admitted at Medical Center Manila until Sunday. May God's healing hands touch him and free him from pain. Please comfort him with your amazing spirit. May God restore his strength and be enlighten by God's nourishing spirit. Thank you for your thoughtfulness, kindness and support as always. :)
Our dad completed the laboratory exams and blood tests. We are still waiting for the laboratory results by early next week. If the doctor has permitted and advised him to undergo the operation. He will be scheduled for the Gastronomic Tube Operation on June 17, 2017,this Friday. Also, in consideration, his strength gains back within the next few days, the operation will push through.
We are looking forward for another successful operation. Please still join us in praying for our Dad's speedy recovery and for his successful operation next week.
Our dad would like to express his sincerest gratitude for supporting him and also, wishes that God will reward you hundred folds for your thoughtfulness, kindness and generosity.
Our dad still feels physically and emotionally stressed. A week ago, he feels weak and about to collapse again.
Our mother and my brothers are there always to accompany him to the bathroom or just going back to his bed since he feels so weak due to fatigue and unable to move by himself sometimes.
We are still needing your prayers for our dad's recovery journey.
We are so thankful for your support, generosity and thoughtfulness.
