The results are in, the courts have spoken and we have more work to do. Jeff was unsuccessful in his bid to have the verdict and judgments overturned by the Supervisory Powers of the Federal Courts. More work on how to approach this and assist Jeff in getting his well deserved victory and freedom.

Docs can be located on the shared drive at EDMO Docs, and

the Courts Order and Memo are here: Court Order and Memo

Your support is appreciated and your help is needed in continuing the fight.

Thank you,

Warren R. Markowitz, Esq on behalf of Jeff Weinhaus.

A short time ago, Jeff and I discussed sending a letter in support of his clemency application to the Governor of Missouri. After some tossing around of ideas, and wanting to address the human side of Jeff and the opportunities that the office of the Gov has in righting the wrongs in our legal system, we got a letter that we believe puts the humanity of Jeff and the unfortunate circumstances that led to his conviction in front of the Governor and asked that he end this nightmare as only he can do it.

Letter to Missouri Governor

Please share this letter with all of the other supporters and thank you for the support that you give Jeff and his family in this time of need. All donations made here go to support the legal efforts to gain the release of the Bulletinman.

Respectfully, Warren R. Markowitz, Esq on behalf of Jeff Weinhaus.

Its been a while since the last update, but Jeff is patiently waiting for the USDC in St. Louis to decide his Habeas Petition. This could include ordering oral arguments about the claims raised in the petition or it may decide on the contents of the petition.
The last few months have been difficult on Jeff as he has been placed in General Population and removed from the Honor Wing of the ERDCC.
Please keep him in mind, and support the legal efforts that have fought so hard for him these nearly two long years.
Thank you, Warren R. Markowitz, Esq, Attorney for the Bulletin Man

The police appear to have initiated the threat of deadly force by drawing their guns on Jeff without justification. You can’t threaten to kill someone simply because they are legally armed. Didn’t Jeff have a right to self defense? Was this ever argued?
