Campaign Story
The brave young men of the Charuv batallion of Kfir, one of the IDF main units, are based in Gush Etzion, south of Jerusalem. The area they patrol and guard has been one of the main flashpoints of the current violent attacks in Israel. There are a number of communities in Gush Etzion, and the safety of their residents depends on the effectiveness of the IDF soldiers assigned to protect them. Terrorists have attacked repeatedly the Gush Etzion area over the last several months, many times specifically targeting the IDF personnel.
We are specifically doing this fund raiser to buy bullet-proof vests for these young men. The vests they have received from the IDF are not of the highest quality due to their cost. Your donation can make the difference between life and death for one or more of these young men, who put their life on the line daily for the safety of Israel.
