Rescuing DR

I recently came across an Arabian gelding that had been abandoned by his owner and left to starve. As I walked down the isle of the barn, he stuck his head out through his stall and grunted, like he was trying to say "notice me." Right away I saw that he was severely underweight and miserable. His hooves are in rough shape, filthy dirty, and not up to date on vaccines or coggins. By the look of his teeth they estimate he is between 12-15 years old. The stable has just gone to court to acquire him, but they are selling him for back board. I asked his name and it isn't known, so for now I am referring to him as DR - Diamond in the Rough. I am not in the position to take on the financial aspects of the rescue and rehabilitation of DR on my own. I have a stable where he can be moved to and where he can be worked with. I have transportation available, but I want to have a DR account set up to cover his expenses while is getting back on his feet. For those who donate to DR's expenses, I will email updates to his progress and photos of him as he becomes the diamond I can see hidden behind his malnourished body. I would like to raise funds as quickly as possible so he doesn't go to a worse environment or to the auction block. Please help DR!
