Sanctuary Help!

We have been practicing in this area for about 9 years and are now faced with a real problem from both the natural and human influence of the area. We have recently acquired the land that has the water source that has been used to charge the lingam stones used in by a few covens and practitioners in the area. We now know why it was simple to purchase.

The 1st and most pressing issue is the condition of the area. The granite that the water fall is made from is in disrepair.   Specifically the top 3 slabs have been separated from the basing by the growth of a tree that is now dead and leaning causing a prying motion and additional movement. Then the last storm of the season last year caused 2 trees to come down and pull the banking out into the pool at the bottom of the falls and ripped bank the banking that is now eroding quickly into steady rain we have had.

2nd problem that has come up is the feeder spring for this bit of oasis is now on the market to be sold as a quarry. This is a new zoning designation for the area and just the logging behind the falls has been almost more than we can keep up with, from an environmental and energy perspective. Our highest goal would be to purchase the land that contains the feeder spring as well to guarantee that we wouldn’t have to deal with any possible future issues or interruptions. Any and all help for this would be appreciated. 

The most pressing issue right now is the collapsing of the discharge area and granite slabs. This is a huge problem because in the upcoming spring storms can cause substantial damage and washout the whole area. This spring flows across a road just downstream and if we cannot maintain and rebuild this flow the local municipality will intervene to try to stabilize and attempt to control the water. At this point we will have lost the land around it as well.

We will be putting as many of the Lingams into this that we can find in the rewards section. There are some that are still on order but none of them are being charged currently as the falls are out of commission as we have already started the cleaning. So please check back often.
