Campaign Story
If you are a member of the Class of '65 at Hampton High School, in Allison Park, PA, you will remember Anne Beck. She was somebody we all called a friend. We elected her the vice-president of our senior class. She was voted the prettiest girl with the nicest smile. Anne and her husband both have multiple sclerosis. Anne has had it for about 20 years, and it is progressive. She fights a valiant fight every day and keeps that positive attitude we all remember. You can see Anne (her married name is Kalyvas) and her younger daughter, Jane, in this video from last October: http://www.whdh.com/story/26682945/living-healthy-...
When we asked what we could do to make Anne's days a little brighter, Jane told us that Anne absolutely loves cut flowers and that Anne could really use an iPad to enhance her quality of life. We are using this website, with Jane's permission, to raise money from class members that will be used for the purchase of a 64GB iPad Air 2, a wireless headset, and monthly flowers for Anne - from the HHS Class of '65. Our original goal amount has been changed. We received an unexpected donation from the man who created LifeVac, and we are ever so grateful to be able to do even more for Anne! All funds raised will be used for Anne. No donation is too small. You may hide your donation amount, and you may remain anonymous if you so choose. All expenses of using this site are being paid by an anonymous donor.
Anne can't attend the 50th year class reunion. Let's send her our love in return for all that she gave us in high school.
Marilyn Taylor Lawson and Sharon Peruzzi Strauchs are responsible for managing this fundraiser. Jan Heyne Greer is our auditor.

Dear Anne, Where have these 50 years gone? Thanks to Lynne Super Allen sending the Memory Book, I am more aware of what directions our high school classmates went. High school and junior high are not the most pleasant times for many in life. You were the anchor for so many of us. With your beauty, intelligence and kindness, combined with an unusual maturity, you, our classmate, made our passage through Hampton much easier. My love and prayers are with you. With deep appreciation, Kathy Betz Smolik
