The SUNY University at Buffalo's club, Students for Sensible Drug Policy (SSDP) will be hosting a learning event for the community on Thursday November 6th, 2014. Guest speaker Peter Christ is an ex-Tonowonda police officer who works with, and will represent Law Enforcement Against Prohibition (LEAP). LEAP's Statement of Principles can be found here: http://www.leap.cc/about/leap-statement-of-principles/. Both organizations (LEAP and SSDP) recognize that the current policy of Drug Prohibition is not effective, and are working to change policy through education. We are raising money as a club to cover as much of the $200 cost as possible.
