Special Needs Lifeline

Special Needs Lifeline is an on line support network for all who been touched by a disability.  This gives them the opportunity to find support, and engage themselves in a community without leaving their home, which many cannot. Specialneedslifeline.org (SNLC) endeavors to inform, empower and inspire all who are touched by a disability.  SNLC’s ultimate vision is to help as many people as possible through communication between the special needs community, world-wide, with New York City as a model for best services. SNLC will accomplish this by providing an on-line community platform for exchanging experiences, ideas and aspirations among these families. 

Specialneedslifine.org is unique because it is a nonprofit with on-site programming in conjunction with a web based networking service for all who are touched by a disability.  In order to fulfill its vision and mission, the organization is building a highly informative, interactive, intuitive and user-friendly website. In addition, the organization provides community outreach events on-site at special needs facilities.  The program format will be based on “recreation and respite infused with beauty and culture.”  It is through our programming that we will bring a "show on the road" featuring drama therapy performers, to special needs facilities.  Our program concept is unique and our mission is truly a worthy cause with great potential.
