Many people ask us how we survive without the minimal support from the welfare system? how do we get food without receiving food coupons?

The truth is that we wouldn't if we weren't skilled in survival. We foraged and hunted from the wild and we could make shelter and set up fire for cooking even in the pouring rain.

Like street cats, we dumpster dived and gathered scraps from the market's floor at the end of the day.

We learned about edible plants and mushrooms.

We rely on food donations from humanitarian organizations. We agree to receive help when it is offered to us.

Not simple for people like us, who were always able to care for themselves.

Help us out of this impossible situation. It's painful to be so occupied with survival, and watch our life passing by.

We want to start a home and a family, to have the basic rights that every human being deserves in the world.

We are Vinas and Lital, an Iranian and Israeli couple, prevented from entering our home countries, in a search for a country that accepts who we are.
