Update as of 03/07/2020

Update posted by Samantha Erica Yap
  • Nine was discharged today.
  • The doctor gave last updates that they fed the cat and we could see that it could not totally swallow the food so that’s why it would drool out. It just needs to be wiped after feeding.

Nine Pick-Up at the Vet

  • Then, they did a last cleaning up and placed the cat in the carrier.

  • We had to pay the outstanding balance of 3,802 pesos. The total amount is 6,802 pesos. The deposit of 3,000 pesos was made at the beginning when the cat was first admitted.

  • This is the breakdown of how we paid for Nine’s hospitalization fees:
    • Donations (so far) - 1,662 pesos
    • Me - 2,550 pesos
    • Borrowed money - 2,590 pesos
    • TOTAL = 6,802 pesos
  • This is the breakdown of how we paid for Nine’s other needs:
    • Crate - 980 pesos (borrowed money)
    • Singen Recovery (food) - 340 pesos (borrowed money; The receipt for this was not given and I forgot to ask for it so I’ll just pay back this borrowed money myself.)
    • Nutriplus Gel (We decided not to buy because we already have one for our dog so we’ll just use that.)

  • Nine needs to be back by March 12 for a follow-up check-up to monitor the jaw and eyes.
