My wife Lalitha and I were married today 16 years ago in India. We founded Toe to Heart Trust through which we in the last 15 years, through our network, have funded school fees and created after school care for dozens of children. 'Toe' stands for material aid and 'heart' stands for immaterial aid. In the future Lalitha and I would like to help and inspire to more small scaled projects ran by volunteers which have such a 'Toe and Heart ' combined set up. The project we ask your support for now is in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso and we ask for your help in funding the school fees, food, uniforms, books, school utilities and after school care for 10 children for one year. The project will be run by Gisele and Sophie, good friends since more than 20 years. The costs of supporting one child (all inn, also after school care) is about 180 euro's. We try to get funds for 10 children. Children have different backgrounds, street children, domestic workers and some also are or have been working in the infamous gold mines of Burkina Faso.
