I greatly appreciate your solidarity and support to my crowdfunding. This is now closed. We have experienced the saddest end of 2019 anyone can ever imagine. By the morning 31st of December we received an information that Petr's body has been found at the bottom of the Haast Ridge. My daughters and me, we had really hoped to be able to find my husband and their father Petr alive. Petr was experienced climber, marathon runner, decent man I could always rely on. However, the fate has written another story. Mt. Cook in New Zealand is the mountain taking lives. But it is not the only mountain hiding mountaineers buried under ice and snow. There are families who don't have the opportunity to say goodbye as the mountain keeps the bodies forever. Thanks to your support it is possible for me and my daughters to do so. It hurts and going to hurt but it will help us to deal with Petr's death as well.
