Doods and I wanted to say THANK YOU for your support. We just can't imagine what would it be like without your constant prayers, encouragement and financial support.

Two weeks ago, after much deliberation, we decided that Doods is strong enough to go through the right thigh bone strengthening procedure. So, she had it on the 12th. It went well and surprisingly, Doods had very little discomfort afterwards. The only thing that really changed from her usual routine was not to move the right leg.

But that also didn't last long. On the 14th, her doctor gave the "go" signal for her physiotherapist to start her on light exercises. And that made a big difference.

Her appetite has improved together with her energy. She requested for chicken adobo & steamed rice on the 18th and managed a piece for her lunch and another piece for dinner. Her dietician also changed her "milk" to another brand that she can start drinking normally, not through the NGT tube.

And yesterday, she received an early Christmas present... they removed her NGT tube. And her physiotherapist also started her to walk, a few steps around the room. Yay!!!

Last Friday, 20th, she also started her 2nd round of radiotherapy, this time concentrated on her hips and legs. This round will complete by this Friday, 27th. This is to address the cancer damage on her right thigh bone and also some spots on her left hip bone. Hopefully, with this round, she would be able to fully use both her legs.

The only downside, last Saturday (21st), the doctors decided to move her to an isolation unit due to a bacterial infection. She's still under observation. We were hoping she would be given a "home pass" to celebrate the Christmas. However, with this infection...
