Our little girl had her cardiac catheterization this morning. Before she went had the procedure, she had a little throw up, which we attribute to her stress over this procedure (as a background, since she knows of her condition since she was little, she tends to cry quietly when people around her talk about it).

The long thin needle was inserted through her inner thigh, and she had to be sedated. But our little girl woke up during the procedure thus she was given an additional dose to keep her calm and sleepy.

After 3 hours, she was able to go back to her room already. Because of the procedure, she cannot move her leg for the rest of the day, and she is under a progressive diet starting 4:00 pm (water, liquids, soft diet, regular food).

Upon waking up, she asked for some cartoons. She had little tears on her eyes every now and then which we attribute to her feeling some of the pain. She laughed though while watching My Little Pony coz the episode was really funny (in her opinion 🤪).

We saw the doctor also and was told that she can go home tomorrow. We go back on Sunday to prepare for her open heart surgery.
