5/2/19 Update - It's been a while, and we got her stitches removed. Unfortunately, she removed her cone TWICE (she's a squirmy cat) and it resulted in another hole (albeit a small one). The vet recommended to observe the wound for 10 days and clean the area with Povidone-Iodine twice a day. Until then if the wound closes on its own, then we're good to go, hopefully it will. But if not, she'll have to undergo another surgery to close it. 😔 So far, there's little to no pus leaking from the wound. Please, keep Peanut in your thoughts and prayers!
