So here's the hard part: Waiting.

I often struggle with this season; wanting to be busy with something, to feel a part of the process somehow, and to just have the slightest illusion of control, you know?

But now all the paperwork, assessments and interviews are done, the profile book has been made and given to the adoption agency, and then nothing. Nothing for us to do but wait.

And in our waiting we are learning to trust, to hope again. Because we know that a trusting attitude and a patient attitude go hand in hand. And patience is not just about waiting for something, it's about how you wait, your attitude while waiting.

Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who still continue to give towards our Baby Els fund. We're almost halfway there and blessed beyond measure!
