Trying a New Medicine

Update posted by Jan Michael Oyales

Hello everyone!

Here is the latest update:

Doctors have ordered another change of plans, what was supposed to be another round of oral chemotherapy has now been changed into a heavier type of chemotherapy.

There is this relatively new drug (Venetoclax and azacytidine) that has shown good results for AML patients, it may not cover all of Chloe's conditions but it can help her AML and still be able to have an effect to her ALL.

Chloe is now being admitted for close monitoring since the drug is relatively new and its data is actually just released this january.

Praise God for providence because this drug's is not easily available. Its a 7 day long chemotherapy cycle and we don't know how Chloe's body would react. Our stay in the hospital could be for a few days or for a week.

Please pray that Chloe's body would tolerate this strong medicine and that this could help to wipe out all the bad cells.

We are still patiently and anxiously waiting for RNA sequencing results. So please do continue to pray and support us.

Thank you the doctors, nurses and Children's Cancer Foundation for keeping her stay here in the hospital enjoyable as much as possible.
