Update 10: As of February 04, 2019

Update posted by Zaldy Mendova

As of February 04, 2019. As scheduled, Sey was administered with L-ASPARAGINASE in the outpatient unit of C center. Thankfully the needle insertion only took one shot so no crying for this session. She also had her routine blood testing at Binangonan Lakeview Hospital; again the needle insertion went smooth so no tears also during the blood testing.

The chemo started a little late because the Doctor was in the middle of another operation. Though all chemo activities are done by nurses alone, we only need the order sheet from the doctor and everything else is just coordinated. The doctor always need to check the blood test result before issuing an order, and the result can also be relayed by nurses through phone.

The chemo unit went overtime for us but the nurses are super nice, you won't feel that you are giving them a burden; normal operating hours are 8am-6pm. We finished late (8pm) but everything went smooth, we even got an up-close view of the fireworks for the Chinese New Year.

The total hospital bill for this session is more than 20k, after Philhealth and PWD we paid more than 9k.

Thank you for reading our update, please don’t get tired in sharing our page, so we can reach more people.

This is our reality, we are knocking on strangers doors and we cannot allow our pride to get in the way. No amount is too small; any amount will help us go a long way because this is a long battle. And with blessings from heaven together with your help we are one step closer in saving our dear Sey.
