They say preemies are really little warriors and I can say that Joaquin is one of them. The past week has been a rollercoaster ride for us. There were a lot of happenings which tested our patience, faith and love. But what keeps us strong is our Baby's bravery and strength to fight for his life.

Last oct. 27, we transferred from private division to clinical division since our expenses are really high and we were afraid we cannot sustain the needs of our baby. Our 12 day stay in private division costs a total of 460k. Thank God, my company provided assistance which helped alot in discharging since we have to settle everything first prior transferring to clinical. In clinical, there will be no PF, discounted laboratory costs and same treatment to be given to private patients. However parents need to be on call 24/7 since we need to pay in cash everyday for our baby's meds and lab expenses. To date, we are averaging around 10-15k per day including his Ntibiotics.
