We still need some help

Update posted by NOR HAYATI MOHD NAWI

Today is 24th February 2019, It is been almost 10 months since, my husband had his brain surgery due to incident at our local park. All this while, he is still unresponsive and vegetable. He need constant care 24/7, we need diapers, urine bags, urine condoms, wet tissues, dry tissues, phlegm suction catheters, blue sheets, syringes, special formula milks, etc. those things definitely for everyday used, and thanks to all of your who have donated directly to my personal bank account, have help a lot in everyday need. Please if you have some to spare we really appreciate it.

Now to update, on 24th January, my husband was again admitted in Hospital due to infection from the previous cranialplasty surgery to insert back the bone onto his forehead sometime in October 2018. All this time the area they stitched is healing well except for the right side of his head that still have the blood clot and since then, we do not dare to remove it as it will started to bleed. A week before he was admitted, (i.e. on 24th January) we notice that every time he cough hard, a little blood seeping down from the blood clot but we just clean the are. However, after a while the blood clot falls off and after we clean it we notice that the are where the blood clot is situated there is a metal exposed and every time he cough the blood seeping from it. We then rushed him to hospital at emergency department. After few tests and CT SCAN, they found that he have some infection and was put on emergency surgery list. However, due to the limited operation the doctor only able to operate on him on 31st January. While he was on the surgery waiting list, he was on fasting since then.

The surgery last about 5 and half hours, right after surgery, he was wheel to ward, I was there also, after that I started to notice that he start having a convulsions. The convulsion did not stop even though the doctor keep increased doses of the seizure meds. The convulsion last him for two week and at the end the seizure only limited to facial and mouth twitching.

After a month in hospital he finally discharge but the doctor's prognosis was not good. according to the Doctor my husband may not be able to recover or able to wake up or response to us due to the severity of this frontal brain injury. We acknowledge and accept the doctors' prognosis, right now we only hope that we could ease his pain and suffering. In mean time I cannot afford to pay for all his medical equipment and accessories, all the special formula milks, diapers, syringes, Ryles tubes, Urine bags & condom catheter, wet tissues, dry tissues, etc. So thank you everyone for your kind donation we really need it.

I shall update again if there is any changes in his condition. thank you and god bless.
