Previously on 26th May 2018, Lentera Nusantara (LENSA) team had participated in a business-initiative program organised Students Representative Council of Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (SRCUTP) in collaboration with Maybank UTP and EVEX UTP. The program was called Bazaar Ramadhan UTP was conducted on 28th - 31st May 2018 and LENSA team foreseen this program as an initiative to increase the funding for LENSA USR Project. Therefore, LENSA team had come out with different delicacies for the selling with the purpose for the charity.

In the midst juggling with the academic commitment, each one of LENSA team member sacrificed and spared their time in cooperating among each other to raise fund for the project. The difference of this program that attracted LENSA team to join was because of the new system that Maybank UTP is trying to implement of which is developing cashless society. Correlating to this main goal, most of the transaction occurred and handled during Bazaar Ramdhan was online by which customers will scan the QRPay Code which will lead them to the access for the transaction to be proceeded. It was a great exposure for the community regarding this cashless method while helping those who are in need. Eventually, the outcome of the fundraising was outstanding. We had collected an amount of money which was then saved into our Charity Savings which will be fully utilised for LENSA Project in Padang, Indonesia soon to help the unfortunate people.
