All I’m missing is the mobility cart. EVERYTHING I do is slow now, including healing. Specifically, I don’t seem to be getting anywhere with pain.

I have another two hospital appointments with the surgeon and the pain consultant on Friday morning, so we’ll see how they go.

Meanwhile, my life is hobbled, and exceedingly irksome. When I look back on the man I used to be before I left Ireland 14 months ago, I seem to have become ancient and infirm almost overnight. Logic and common sense tell me this is due to some illness(es) and not just the accident. So starting this afternoon, I’m returning to the Intensive Care Protocol.

I can’t find my TENS cable, so I’ll have to do remote. I set up a separate scanning rig last night in my bedroom, so it’s all ready to roll. I know I’ve no choice about doing it, but I can’t help resenting the loss of the hour to scan.

The new presets pack is slow going, but almost there now. Some superb new stuff in this, but the next one or two are going to be very special.
