PAYPAL ACCEPTED HERE! Our Wounded Warrior has suffered an unfortunate accident, causing a snapped humerus just below where it enters into the shoulder socket. If this does not heal properly, surgery will be required. We all so much appreciate the many blessings David has freely given us all at the ICU family. Now during this difficult time, any contribution made would be greatly appreciated. As we all know, stress alone can deepen the pain. Let's all see what we can do to help alleviate some of this stress for David, like he has for many of us. Please know that no amount is too low because love is not measured and yet, it all adds up!
As David says, Namaste!
"My soul honors your soul. I honor the place in you where the entire
Universe resides. I honor the light, love, truth, beauty and peace
within you, because it is also within me. In sharing these things we
are united, we are the same, we are one."
EXCITING UPDATES FROM DAVID BOURKE! - "It’s a long time since I could legitimately claim to be a Speedy Gonzales, but this gammy arm and the lung lesions have slowed me right down. All I’m missing is the mobility cart. EVERYTHING I do is slow now, including healing. Specifically, I don’t seem to be getting anywhere with pain.
I have another two hospital appointments with the surgeon and the pain consultant on Friday morning, so we’ll see how they go.
Meanwhile, my life is hobbled, and exceedingly irksome. When I look back on the man I used to be before I left Ireland 14 months ago, I seem to have become ancient and infirm almost overnight. Logic and common sense tell me this is due to some illness(es) and not just the accident. So starting this afternoon, I’m returning to the Intensive Care Protocol.
I can’t find my TENS cable, so I’ll have to do remote. I set up a separate scanning rig last night in my bedroom, so it’s all ready to roll. I know I’ve no choice about doing it, but I can’t help resenting the loss of the hour to scan.
The new presets pack is slow going, but almost there now. Some superb new stuff in this, but the next one or two are going to be very special. The words that jump out of the email at me are “mind-blowing” and “breakthrough development.” It’s things like this that keep dragging me back to the coal-face." - David Bourke
TRANSPARENCY NOTE: 556,408 Thai Baht equals USD $17,013.19 This is the Hospital portion of David's Medical Expenses since August 15th, 2018. On top of this amount are other expenses, which is why Karen and I set the Fundraising Goal to max out at $20,000. Thank you all for your amazing support! Tiana & Karen.
David adds… “Thank you for all you've done. You took a huge weight off my shoulders at a time when I needed peace of mind. For that, you have my deepest gratitude.” - David Bourke
It was one year ago today that some nefarious events happened in the life of David Bourke. However, his dishonorable discharge did not stop him, it only fueled a fierce drive to build five more websites to freely assist those suffering and in need of guidance. Not surprising to those who knew him, but amazingly look how far he has come. Just wanted to thank him for his perseverance during this past year and we hope that his recovery is going well. Much appreciation to everyone for your donations and please continue sending your prayers and positive thoughts.
So congratulations David, get well soon, set forth and conquer! Lets win this victory!
The Spooky2ICU family raised $12,465 in only 30 days! The Goal has been $20,000 to pay off all of David's medical bills. Can we raise the remaining $7535 in the month of September? "I arise today" - An Irish Blessing and photo from David's hometown.
UPDATE: Courtesy of Xavier OK. David is feeling slightly better today
although he still has some pain. It's worse when he is sitting and
laying down but when he stands up he does get some relief. While talking
with Xavier, he mentioned that he walked in on David working on his
computer! I told Xavier to tell David that his Spooky2ICU Family loves
him and says to REST! David smiled. :) It's encouraging to see the look in his eyes. The look of a man on a mission.

Yay! We hit $10,000.00 USD last night everyone and we are now half way to our goal! Lets do this ICU family! Thanks to our angel Xavier, David has all his equipment up and running so he can comfortably start some major healing. Much appreciation has been relayed for all of you from David, so let's keep up the generosity for this extraordinary man as he has given so much to us all.
