For anyone who may have missed this post made today by David: "A few days ago, broken bones moved and severed a blood vessel, which turned my whole arm comically black. And the pain started to become intense and unbearable. After a sleepless night last night, I had a CTI scan today which showed that the bone had separated into six parts - I originally thought it was a straight break, then fractured into four, now told it’s six.

I was assured by a professor of orthopedics that surgery is no longer a matter of choice, and I’m scheduled to go on the operating table for two hours tomorrow.

I hadn’t planned on that, my friends, but I’ll be back as soon as I can manage it.

I’ve made no will/testament in Thailand, and none exists in Ireland, but just in case things don’t go to plan tomorrow, I want to publicly record that my wishes are for everything I own to go to my loyal friend Witold Pawlowski.

Sorry for morbidity, but I want S2ICU to go on with or without me. Better safe than sorry.
