It's been a while since i have posted an update about my dad. Whenever people ask me how dad is doing I often just say "makulit". The reason for this is because when he was really feeling ill he wasn't makulit at all. The fact that he is back to his usual level of mischief means he must be feeling better.

The difference was made by the fact that in the last couple of months we started renting an oxygen concentrator. With dad's condition he needs to be on oxygen 24/7 as per doctor's orders but oxygen is not exactly cheap! One big tank costs about P700 to refill which is not enough to get him through the day. We have 2 big tank and 1 travel tank and it simply isn't enough. This means that refilling all of them daily would cost us around P1,700.

The oxygen concentrator costs P3,500 a month to rent. Such big savings! Ever since we got this dad was able to sleep through the night and having him on oxygen most of the time is no difficult task.

His operation is scheduled for November 2018. If nothing happens between now and then, we should be able to FINALLY partially fix his heart. *fingers crossed*
