On the afternoon of 12 May 2018, Mama had a high fever and a seizure which lasted for more than 5 minutes, so we rushed her to the hospital. She got admitted again for easy monitoring. Since then, mama's condition hasn't been constant. There are times that her vital signs are normal, and there are also times that her vital signs aren't - low BP, fast pulse rate, high blood sugar, and just recently, very low oxygen.

On 18 May 2018, Mama's oxygen dropped to 50% which is not normal. The doctor then advised her to be on BiPAP therapy to give her the right amount of oxygen. Since then, mama has been very dependent on said therapy. She could no longer breathe properly without the BiPAP machine.

The doctors also told us that the infection has already spread on her lungs making it very uncomfortable for her to breathe.

Mama's oncologist also suspects that the cancer cells have already metastasized on her liver and bones for the reason that her palms have already changed its colors into yellow, and that she could no longer walk, stand, sit on her bed, and even move freely. Several bumps are also evident on mama's body.

Pain is inevitable on Mama’s condition, and we don't want her to suffer in pain, so we decided to just go for palliative care.

We are blessed enough to have families and friends helping us both emotionally and financially. However, because of mama's previous hospitalizations, our family's savings, including the amount we've gathered through this fundraising have already depleted.

Mama's current hospital bills have already skyrocketed to half a million pesos, and mama still needs continuous care.
