Mama joined our Creator early morning of May 25, 2018.

My sister and I would like to thank you all for the prayers and financial help you've given us. This campaign is still open as we are still in need of funds for the hospital bills of mama. We need to pay atleast more than half of the bill and they will accept only a 100k balance in collateral with our house title in order for them to release mama's death certificate.

Mama's hospital bill skyrocketed to 640k. We paid 20,000 for the downpayment then Philhealth gave us 32,000 and 50,000 from PCSO and we still have a remaining balance of 538,000.

Again, we are knocking on your kind heart for a little help and prayers for our family.

We thank you all for the support, prayers and help you've provided us since we opened this campaign. We will surely pray for everyone as well.

God bless you all.

On the afternoon of 12 May 2018, Mama had a high fever and a seizure which lasted for more than 5 minutes, so we rushed her to the hospital. She got admitted again for easy monitoring. Since then, mama's condition hasn't been constant. There are times that her vital signs are normal, and there are also times that her vital signs aren't - low BP, fast pulse rate, high blood sugar, and just recently, very low oxygen.

On 18 May 2018, Mama's oxygen dropped to 50% which is not normal. The doctor then advised her to be on BiPAP therapy to give her the right amount of oxygen. Since then, mama has been very dependent on said therapy. She could no longer breathe properly without the BiPAP machine.

The doctors also told us that the infection has already spread on her lungs making it very uncomfortable for her to breathe.

Mama's oncologist also suspects that the cancer cells have already metastasized on her liver and bones for the reason that her palms have already changed its colors into yellow, and that she could no longer walk, stand, sit on her bed, and even move freely. Several bumps are also evident on mama's body.

Pain is inevitable on Mama’s condition, and we don't want her to suffer in pain, so we decided to just go for palliative care.

We are blessed enough to have families and friends helping us both emotionally and financially. However, because of mama's previous hospitalizations, our family's savings, including the amount we've gathered through this fundraising have already depleted.

Mama's current hospital bills have already skyrocketed to half a million pesos, and mama still needs continuous care.

Hence, we are humbly asking for your help and prayers in this time of dire need. You can contact me at 0915-202-7589. You can also reach us through these email addresses:

Mama had a consultation with her Radiation Oncologist at POCC-Fairview. The Rad. Onco advised mama to undergo a total of ten (10) sessions of whole brain radiotheraphy for the reason that the tumors in mama’s brain have drastically increased in number after her brain surgery (from having 2 remaining tumors, mama has now a total of 6 tumors). The oncologist, however, informed us that considering mama’s age, the process may cause a lot of side effects on her. It may affect her speech, control, attitude, and behavior.

We went at Skyline Hospital and Medical Center (nearest hospital), and was referred to a different Thoracic Surgeon to remove mama's S/P catheter (catheter that drains the water on mama’s lungs so it will not be infected). However, the doctor advised mama to have a Chest Mapping Ultrasound and X-ray first, to make sure that the water is already drained. The doctor then advised us to have a follow up check-up on Thursday, February 8, 2018.

Considering the side effects, and mama’s ability to finish the whole radiotherapy session, we decided to have a consultation first at Dr. Farrah Natural Medical Center at Victoria, Tarlac. It is a well-known medical center which caters the needs of terminally-ill patients in a naturopathic way. They prescribed herbal medicines for mama, and advised us to go back after a month to see if there is any progress.

Dr. Martinez removed her S/P catheter. (OPD)

Jasmine and I rushed mama to the ER because her whole body twitched, and was also complaining for having severe headaches for the past few days. Since mama is currently on natural treatment, we decided not to admit her in the hospital, and just asked for home medications. The resident doctor advised to just take the previous home medicines given by mama's Neurologist.

We noticed that mama got weaker (maybe because of the change in her diet due to the natural treatment, or because of the tumors in her brain), so we decided to rush her again to the hospital, and let her be admitted to have IV and further tests again.

At present, Mama is still at Skyline Hospital and Medical Center. We are continually hoping that she would regain her strength. We are also asking you to include mama and our family in your prayers.

I do apologize for posting late updates on mama’s condition. I don’t have much time to write and post updates on a regular basis for the reason that I am taking care of my 10-month old daughter and mama simultaneously. I hope you understand, and we are praying that God will bless you more!

We really appreciate your help by all means, and we promise that we will keep you all posted on mama's condition.

Again, thank you for fighting with us with faith.

Mama is now recovering at our house. She still needs to gain strength for her upcoming Radiotherapy and other medications.

She, however, still has a Pigtail Catheter on her lungs to drain all the fluid inside. As advised by her surgeon, he will remove it on her follow up check up next Friday. She will also have a follow up check up with her Oncologist next week.

We are grateful for all the prayers and monetary support you have given us. Thank you to those people who went extra mile to give their support for mama and for us.

We are truly Blessed that we have family and friends that we can lean on in this time of need.

Please continue on praying for mama's recovery and share this fund raising campaign for the other treatments that still needs to be done.

Thank you so much and God Bless you all.
