It's getting serious Hoomans

Update posted by Carri Anne Leathern Kelly

"Helloooooo Hoomans.

We has raised just over a third of what I need to get to my forever home in Cape Town. My main Hooman is stressing because the cut off day for me to get my jabs before I fly is 28 January 2018. This is the very last day I can get my final rabies vaccine before boarding the plane. Dere's a rule it can't be done later than 30-days before flying. Any later than that and I would only be able to fly in March... and Hooman would be gone... and a cattery is not part of the financial equation cos Hooman says we are not Rockafellas but the Other-Fellas, whatever dat means.

If you wondering the cost breakdowns, is like this:

Approx R8 000 for my flight, because I travel as manifest cargo I'm charged by volumetric space used and my weight, and it's based on my check-in on the day. So if I'm a fatty boom-boom that morning we pay for the room-room.

My health certificate from the vet and final check-up will be R2 360.

My two certificates, one from state vet and export papers are R3 035.

My paperwork from custom clearance and state vet in South Africa is R3 800.

And we have a R2 500 contingency in place should something happen and I need to go to a cattery and Hooman is stuck where I is not.

If we come in under budget we will donate remaining amount to another meow in need of cash dollar.

So please other Hoomans, please consider donating to my cause. I know I's not a rhino or elephant but I's just as equally important to be happy in a forever home.

And paws and thank yous to those that have donated.

p.s. Hooman has offered me her student monies to fly me home but I says no.
