November 17, 2017: Ayisha is Finally Discharged from the Hospital

Update posted by Glenn Apacible

After almost 2 months in the hospital, Ayisha is finally home. Discharged from PCMC, we went straight to my brother's home. Ayisha did not immediately recognize their house but when Oreo, her dog, came out, we saw how her memories are slowly getting back. She insisted on trying to walk with her parents' support. She insisted on checking out every corner of their house until she saw her room. There, her face lit up and got excited to see all her things and the unopened gifts from friends for her birthday.

Thank you so much to family, relatives, friends and even people who we do not know who kept the prayer vigil with us during Ayisha's weakest days. We strongly believe that we would not have survived those endless days if not for all the prayers that stormed heaven asking for Ayisha's healing.

Thank you also for the financial support that came our way from different sides of the world, from family, relatives, friends and again, to people who we do not know. It certainly helped save the life of our little Angel Ayisha.

From here on, we start a new journey. A new lease in life for our dear Ayisha. We pray that the seizures will not recur and that everything that happened was just a test of our faith and love for our Lord. May HIS healing hands always touch Ayisha, her doctors, nurses, therapists and all those who surround her.

As we start her series of therapies to bring her completely back to her old self, we ask that you always join us in prayers.

We still ask for prayers and Mama Mary's intervention to keep her seizure free all her life.

Once again, thank you for being with us in this journey. May our good Lord always bless us all.
