THE CAMPAIGN IS ALIVE!

Almost a month into the Crowdfunding Campaign to produce the ARIOSO CD, promoting Latin American classical and contemporary music by contributing to the repertoires for Cuban classical piano trio and piano solo, we are happy to share this update:

• Having received a first major contribution of €500 besides many smaller ones (from The Netherlands, US, Canada, Malaysia, Aruba and Curaçaco) we are now nearing the €2000 mark and hope to be able to initiate the first step of the project (the rehearsal in Berlin) soon.
• Most of the major components of the campaign are now accessible in English, Spanish and Dutch, including the press page, rewards overview and Western Union instructions on the website.
• A special ARIOSO video page was opened, on which one more video will be added soon!
• We've successfully secured two Crowdfunding Mini-concerts; one in Utrecht on 20 May, open to the general public; one private living room concert on 24 May.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

• Donate, of course! Any amount helps. Small amounts help keep the campaign alive, are a great boost and great vote of confidence for us AND may inspire others to give, also by promoting our credibility. Big amounts will help ensure that we realize this project that we are more passionate about than any project since we met in 1999...
• We're looking for other potential Crowdfunding mini-concert hosts in a location with a baby grand piano to provide a FREE concert including a taste of ARIOSO by me, within the duration of the campaign (through 15 June 2017).
• An article in a newspaper or other news medium or blog could make a huge difference, so we're also looking for interested journalists. We are of course avidly researching this and approaching reporters ourselves.
• Another action that we are taking this week is a targeted sponsor approach for hopefully larger donations, as well as the pursuit of other CD funding avenues, to cover all our bases.
