2017 has not only added another year of strength and faith to Mommy Anne, but also a circle of new hearts she can call family.

The support Mom and Dad while in Maryland was overwhelming; the love they received warmed their hearts and firmed their will to fight AML. Their presence also assured us, who were in the Philippines then, that our family is truly and exceptionally blessed beyond AML's curse.

So this August 16, our Mom turned 52. We started the day with a visit to San Jose Capistrano to pray in one of its churches. In the collage, my brother is shown hugging our parents as they pray in thanksgiving for strength and perseverance.

Back at home, we had a simple birthday dinner of pansit, lasagna, and berry cake made with lots of love.

It is with great joy that I wish to thank you all for loving Mommy Anne as much as we do and for sending her your greetings and well-wishes on her special day.
