As part of the VCAT hearing we became aware that Council is currently considering the development of a further six units on the land behind Islay House - bringing the total to 20 units. Sadly this doesn't come as a surprise as now that Council has given the green light to 14 high density units, adding six more will be in keeping with the new neighbourhood character.

If we win our case at VCAT hopefully this will give us enough ammunition to defeat this additional proposal at Council rather than having to spend $10,000 contesting it at VCAT.
