Last week Jolene travelled to Mexico to begin her treatment journey. It started on Monday with an appointment at the clinic, followed by meetings with various professionals: neurologist, cardiologist etc. Also an MRI scan and blood tests.

On Friday chemotherapy started and was repeated again on Saturday.

On Sunday Jolene received the first of the injections to stimulate the stem cells from the bone marrow. Injections are given every 12 hours for a week, in the apartment. Jolene is not back in the clinic until this course of injections is complete. In the meantime she will be resting up and taking things easy.
