Mel will be admitted on Friday, August 19 and will undergo Cytoreductive Surgery (CRS) and Hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) on August 20 at around 4 pm.

This big step in claiming victory over her disease wouldn't be possible at this time without all the prayers and the support that you have given the family. Through all the donations, the family were able to amass the amount needed for the medical bond (down payment) making the surgery possible. With that, we are really grateful as the urgency of the procedure cannot be overstated.
