Wow.. just wow!! Just five (5) days into this campaign (small and modest project in support of Benben's speech therapy / augmentation) and we already have:

• A little under 300 views (considering that GoGetFunding has not set the campaign in public view and that the views are mostly from social media contacts to whom the campaign was shared);
• A little under $100 in online contributions or a little above 15% of the target goal;
• Received numerous messages and calls expressing pledges and offline contributions to the campaign;
• Six (and more) "backers" listing themselves as anonymous in GoGetFunding but generously contributing to the campaign. A big big "thank you" from Benben. As I've mentioned in my private messages to some of you, we can all say (or claim) that we are part of improving Benben's communication and speech augmentation in spite of the challenges autism brings.

We cannot express how happy we are with how this campaign (I like to refer to it as a small and modest project) is going. It's not in the amounts received, but rather the joy comes from knowing and realizing that there are a lot of you out there - friends, relatives, past and present work mates, (past) school mates, friends of friends and other acquiantances - who do care not just for Benben but for children with 'special needs' in general.

And to use a line from one of Benben's favorite show / movie - High School Musical: "We're all in this together".
