Peggy Sue had her surgery on 12/28/15. She tolerated the surgery very well. According to Drs. Esguerra and Sinabre from San Roque Animal Clinic in Carcar, Cebu, the tumor removed was very large. They also found a smaller tumor in the next mammary gland which was harder. That tumor was also removed. Samples of the biopsy will be sent for analysis to determine whether they are malignant. Peggy Sue was discharged today, 12/30/15 so that she can recover peacefully among us at the IRO Lolo Ali Center. She is being housed in a special "ICU" room which is the Center's large laundry room. She has her own dog bed, mattress, and clean sheets. Please check the photos uploaded today when I picked up Peggy Sue from the clinic. Thank you!
