It has been a month since the accident and Brandon just keeps improving every day. This last week he has been eating regular scheduled meals. A few of his requests have been In n Out and pizza. He is now talking up a storm and cracking jokes left and right. His silly, sarcastic humor that we all know and love is still there. His strength keeps on improving by doing a variety of exercises and activities.Unfortunately, he is seeing double when objects or people are close up. To help his eyes focus, he is wearing an eye patch that has to be switched from eye to eye throughout the day. He has a wonderful sense of humor about it and said he is a pirate for Halloween. His therapists have expressed their amazement of how far he has come. However, he still needs to take catnaps since he gets fatigued easily. Oh, almost forgot, he finally was able to have some iced coffee! We had to thicken it for him since liquids are still a little bit difficult for him to swallow.
