Derek made it through surgery with flying colors. He went in at 10:00 this morning and got out at 1:00 pm. Ashley, his wife, reported that Derek "is perfect" and his surgeon is pretty positive what he has a cavernoma, not another tumor. Once pathology reports come back, Derek and Ashley will be able to hear more about what they are dealing with along with length of Derek's healing process. They are hoping for an update from Derek's doctor tomorrow. Please keep this wonderful family in your prayers.
